Covers for A Kiss of Revenge, Hearts Under SIEGE, and Secrets Under SIEGE, all depicting shirtless men.

Last month, I had everyone vote on whether they preferred the original covers for the Goddess Series, or the new ones the publisher did a few years ago. It was a tossup, with the new ones getting the edge by one vote. 🙂 Thanks for voting!

This month I have a few things for you:

1. Three featured titles, all on sale for only 99¢

2. A cover tease for Breaking True, the first book in my new series

3. Two upcoming events

Let’s get started!

The rest of my “standalone” romantic adventures are this month’s featured books. (After this, it’s mostly series, but all my series are short.)

These books cover two extremes: one story is defiant of romance convention, and the other two lean hard into tropes.

I love to read books featuring competent characters. I wrote A Kiss of Revenge because I wanted to have a heroine who was skilled at a whole bunch of different things. Like archery. On horseback. When I considered how she would gain this range of unrelated skills, I came up with a Black Widow concept. She didn’t kill anyone, but she was married more than once and all her husbands died. But not before she learned whatever they were most passionate about, because she was desperate to connect to someone, to not be alone. Now she’s determined to make it on her own, so of course complications ensue. The revenge plot is focused on the bad guy who was responsible for her last husband’s death.

I promise, this is a romance, and if you like books that stretch genre expectations, you can read the blurb and access the retailer links here.

Hearts Under SIEGE may be my best-reviewed book. (I didn’t look at Goodreads or anything to check that, so don’t tell me if it’s not. LOL) My very favorite review can still be found online here but you have to be of age to access that site, so you can see a quote on the book page here.

Friends to lovers is my favorite trope. There’s also unrequited love, boy next door, and a secret spy agency, and so many twists and turns that’s it’s hard to describe the story without spoiling surprises. Michelle, the owner of Cupboard Maker Books in Enola, PA (the one with the cats; they just went viral for a marriage proposal in the store [between people, not cats] so check them out!), declared this book her favorite of all my books, and every time I release a new one, she says this one is better. You be the judge!

The sequel, Secrets Under SIEGE, features an enemies to lovers storyline, but I have a hard time making them real enemies. So they’re more like competitors who used to be enemies and now have to team up to figure out who is trying to frame both of their companies for evildoing. There is a lot of family drama in both books, too.

All three of these books will be only 99¢ until the end of March, but go get them now so you don’t forget! 🙂 (If you see a pricing discrepancy, email me a reply to this newsletter and let me know. Prices are accurate at the time of sending.)
