A few months ago I asked a bunch of people if they thought I should update my author photo. It was taken quite a while ago and I'd lost some weight, which makes me look older. Overall they said I still looked mostly like that image, and it wasn't a close-up shot, and getting a new professional photo meant logistics and makeup and posing and ugh, so I didn't do anything. Then I lost more weight and got a haircut and changed so dramatically I hated looking in the mirror. My hair grew a little and I adjusted and started looking more like myself again. But last month, a coworker told me someone told him I'm an author, and he didn't know who they were talking about, so he looked me up and said "no, I don't know her."So I need a new photo. It's not like I'm the only author still using a *mumble*-year-old image, but I'm over 52 now, so I gotta do it. We took a bunch of photos last week, and these are the least awful. LOL Now it's time for everyone to vote! They are numbered 1-4 in the captions, but you can also vote 5, aka "OMG start over these suck." 😂 I have no objectivity, so 5 is my vote. They may need some additional adjustment or different cropping. (I was trying to get them all the same size, but the distance was all different and it wasn't working so I gave up. LOL) But this is a place to start. Thanks in advance! ... See MoreSee Less
