Thar’s Gold in Them Thar File Cabinets!

I have a booksigning next week! It will be, like, my 500th booksigning or something like that. But only the 4th at Ashcombe Farm and Greenhouse, where 20 or so romance authors gather in a beautiful, sweet-smelling setting to meet readers and sell signed copies of our books every February.

This year’s event is next Saturday, February 11, from 12 noon to 3 p.m. There will be a massive giveaway full of goodies donated by the authors as well as a $25 Ashcombe gift card. The café will have a lunch special, too! (Buy one, get one half off)

Read about all the authors who are attending here. Stop by, enter the drawing (need not be present to win), and maybe go home with a pretty plant and awesome book to get you through the rest of the winter!

Now. about the gold. I’ve been cleaning out my file cabinets, one or more files a day. Mainly because it was so full I couldn’t put any more into it. I do this every *mumble* years. But the drawer with the writing stuff from when I started hasn’t been touched. This morning, I found photos from my first-ever booksigning!

B. Dalton Bookseller in the Camp Hill Mall, neither of which exist anymore.
Me with Laura, the store manager, who was always amazing.
My mother-in-law, who made this the most successful booksigning I ever did. 23 books sold!
Signing a book for one of my mother-in-law’s friends.
Two more of my mother-in-law’s friends. See what I mean? 🙂 I was so grateful they came.
My ambassador, aka Number Two. She and her sister walked around with my sister-in-law, telling people to come down and meet the author.
